Brandon Lewis is a Toronto-based Writer and Director with 15 years of filmmaking experience and over 400 short films under his belt. Described as a fearless filmmaker, Lewis has cultivated his expertise in every dimension of filmmaking. From directing, colour-grading, lighting, cinematography, video editing and SFX, his skill set is evident in all his work.
His recent production, Where it Hides (2021), won the 2021 Best Horror at the Toronto Fim and Script. In this production, Lewis experimented with TVs to create cove lighting setups. This successful experimentation has inspired Lewis in his next role as Director of Photography. He is currently building three edge-lit panel lights that employ the inverse square law to create the evenest shadows and softest lights for his actors and sets.
